About Us

The Particle Studio Ltd (TPS) is an Australian not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting Chinese-speaking families affected by disability, autism and developmental support needs through culturally responsive, community-based initiatives. TPS works to strengthen family wellbeing, reduce social isolation, improve access to information and services, and promote meaningful participation in community life.

Our Mission

Many Chinese-speaking families raising autistic children face challenges in accessing trusted information, navigating Australia's health, disability and community support systems, and building meaningful social connections. Language barriers, cultural differences and unfamiliar service systems can make it difficult for families to understand, access and benefit from the support already available. TPS exists to help bridge these gaps by strengthening community connection, family resilience and access to existing services through practical, culturally responsive initiatives.

Our Approach

Rather than creating parallel services, TPS works alongside existing health, disability and community organisations to help families better understand, access and benefit from available support.

Through community partnerships, family support, emergency preparedness, information sharing, service navigation and inclusive community activities, TPS aims to strengthen confidence, participation and resilience among Chinese-speaking families.

Our Current Focus

Our current work focuses on supporting Chinese-speaking families affected by autism and developmental support needs through:

  • Family resilience and wellbeing

  • Emergency preparedness

  • Community connection

  • Service navigation

  • Inclusive family activities

As the organisation grows, TPS also plans to develop additional initiatives that support women's wellbeing, parenting and broader family support needs.

Our Commitment
TPS is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and is committed to strengthening:

  • Family Wellbeing

  • Inclusion

  • Community Participation

  • Community Connection

  • Long-term Resilience

through practical, community-based support for Chinese-speaking families.
